Located in the heart of Hellesylt, our sauna is your gateway to pure relaxation. Important Information for Guests:

  • Use at Your Own Risk: All bathing and use of the sauna is at your own responsibility.

  • Never Bathe Alone: Always bring a buddy with you for safety.

  • Fresh Water Only: Only use fresh water on the heater. This is crucial to avoid damage. Fill fresh water from the tap under the shower.

  • Towels: Bring your own towel. Please use it to sit on inside the sauna room for hygiene purposes.

  • Alcohol: For private bookings (not drop-ins), a maximum of 2 units of alcohol per person is allowed. Avoid drinks that may stain the wood. Drinking outside the sauna or changing area is not permitted. Visibly intoxicated individuals may be denied access. Note that combining alcohol with sauna use or swimming is not recommended.

  • Snacks: Feel free to bring snacks, but avoid consuming them inside the sauna room for hygiene reasons.

  • Swimming: Stay close to the shore, and diving is not allowed.

  • Toilets: There are no toilets at the sauna. Public toilets are available in Hellesylt Center or at Kaihuset.

  • Garbage: Trash bins are located outside the sauna. Please tidy up after yourself to leave the space ready for the next guests.

Practical Information:

  • Electric Heater: The sauna features an electric heater that provides consistent and comfortable warmth.

  • Space for 8 People: Ideal for small groups or a cozy time with friends and family.

  • Direct Fjord Access: Combine warmth and cooling off with a swim in the clear fjord water.

Booking and Usage:

  • Access: After booking, you will receive a code to collect the key. The key box is located in front of the sauna. Please return the key after use.

  • Pre-heated Sauna: The heater is automatic and will be warm and ready when your booking starts.

  • Punctuality: Arrive 15 minutes before your reservation begins. Leave the sauna precisely at the end of your time to allow the next guests to use it.

  • Cleanliness: Take all your garbage with you and keep the area clean.

  • Changing Facilities: There are no dedicated changing rooms at the sauna. Changing can be done at Hellesylt Badestrand or in the area around the sauna.
